Ever wondered what it’s like to practice yoga 1,100 feet above New York City, while taking in its stunning skyline?
🧘♀️ Sky High Yoga returns at The Edge in summer 2026, and this year, the entire experience just got even more extraordinary.
Every time I take a Sky High Yoga class on the Edge, I feel blessed! Trust me, you don’t have to be a pro to have one of the most incredible NYC experiences!
Here’s all you need to know to book your spot and start your NYC day “on a high”:
🗓️ Classes are held three times a week – Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays – from June through September, 2026
🕞 The 45-minute yoga class starts at 6:30 AM, and doors open at 6 AM. I suggest getting there as early as possible to enjoy the stunning view even before the class starts, and you’ll also be able to spend another 30 minutes at The Edge after class.
🎟️ Tickets start $75 and include admission to The Edge, a 45-min yoga session, and an additional 30 minutes post-class to enjoy the view. Yoga mats are provided, and I’d suggest bringing a water bottle.
Good to know: You’ll be asked to check your bag and coat at the coat check. Only your phone and water bottle come with you to the sky deck. Classes are for ages 16+. In case of inclement weather, classes may be moved indoors.
‼️ Set your alarms.
Classes are released on the last Friday of every month at 12 PM EST for the upcoming month, and they sell out fast. Keep refreshing the page (here’s the link to the official website) and good luck!!!!

✨ New in 2026: Edge is transforming into an immersive experience
Starting summer 2026, the entire journey from street to sky is being reimagined. Three permanent art and light installations by world-class design studios are being added inside the 100th floor:
– Pulse, a room of pulsing electric color and sound
– Crystal Cave, a walk-through rainbow of translucent jewels
– Infinite City, a forest of glowing “skyscrapers” reflecting the actual skyline.
The elevator ride itself is becoming a “kaleidoscopic” experience that changes based on the sun and time of year. This is going to be the most talked-about spot in the city this summer.
💡Insider Pro Tip from a local
Book Sky High Yoga to start your day from one of the most magical places in New York City while avoiding the crowd! At that time, The Edge is only open to yoga class attendees, and you’ll have the unique opportunity to capture that WOW Instagram moment (almost) all by yourself before and after class. Plus, you’ll connect with the city in a way most people never get to experience.
